1st District (West Side, west suburbs): Incumbent Earlean Collins has few accomplishments in her long career as an elected official. Adekunle "Ade" B. Onayemi, former Oak Park school board president, architect and West Side civic activist, is our choice over Chris Harris, who is articulate and reform-minded but politically inexperienced, and Derrick Smith.
